Michael has been in pastoral ministry for over a decade and married to his wonderful wife Beth for exactly one month longer. When Michael isn’t working, you will find him with his family, alone with a book and some coffee, getting intentionally lost on his vintage motorcycle, or watching the world champion Cleveland Cavaliers. With a passion for biblical theology, a love for adventure, and a joy for speaking, Michael has found himself in a variety of countries sharing the Gospel, drinking exceptional coffee, and seeing what is over the next horizon. He proudly calls Lakewood, Ohio home.

Michael’s hope is that this blog serves as a point of connection between you and Jesus. The deepest joys in life flow from that deep connection. Over time this blog will grow into a place where Michael processes his theology in public spaces with opportunity for interaction. Studying God, discussing God with others, and meditating on the ways of God revealed in Scripture and the world around us, will hopefully lead us into powerful encounter with the author of life. All theology should lead to encounter. All study of Scripture should lead us to the inspirer. May you find Him on the journey.

Michael has a B.A. in Biblical Literature: Old Testament from Oral Roberts University and a Masters of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary.
